Rare surgery at SVP hospital
Surgeons of Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at SVP hospital performed Total abdominal Hysterectomy in a 55 years old lady suffering from abdominal pain and a large fibroid of uterus approximately 25x25x28 cm in size and 5 kg in weight. Patient was admitted under PMJAY scheme at SVP hospital under GYNEC UNIT A.
The surgery was done successfully by Dr Parul T Shah – Head of the department and her team. The surgery not only provided relief to the patient, but also showcased the exemplary medical services at Smt NHL Municipal Medical College and SVP Institute of Medical Science and Research , Ahmedabad .
