Instruction for absracts
Abstracts must be typed with double spacing on bond paper
with maximum of 250 words
Three copies of the abstracts have to be submitted
Last date for submission of abstract is 15th October 2003
.After this date abstracts will not be printed in the
booklet or souvenir.
Name of the presenting author should be underlined.
Abstract should contain aim of study, material and methods
, results and conclusions.
Time alloted for presentation of paper will be 7 minutes
and 3 minutes for discussion.
Audio visual aids like slide projector, O.H.P., L.C.D,
projector will be provided at the venue. Any special A.V.
Aids required should be intimated well in advance, which
will be provided if available.
Abstracts will be accepted only after registration fees
has been paid .
Presenting author has to be a member of ASI, otherwise
he should take special permission from president of ASI.
Note for poster presentation
Material should be arranged in sequence and mounted in
an area 3’X 4’ horizontally.
Poster should be fixed at least one hour before the poster
session
Fix a passport size photograph the author on the right
side top corner.
Author should be present throughout the poster session
for any discussion.

anatomy.
Morphology, Growth and Development Embryology & Teratology.
Museum, Embalming & Imaging techniques.
Histology , Histochemistry and related topics.

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of Anatomical Society of India (ASI), we have
the pleasure of extending a warm welcome and invite you
all to attend and participate in the 51st National conference
(NATCON) of ASI to be held at in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from
28th – 30th December 2003. A pre-conference C.M.E.
(Continued Medical Education) program has been arranged
on the 27th Dec. 2003. The theme of the CME is “Clinical
Anatomy” Ahmedabad, at one time known as “Manchester
of India” because of large numbers of textile mills,
has a rich historical background, both in the past, as well
as in recent times. It was the center of freedom struggle
led by Mahatma Gandhi from the Gandhi Ashram situated on
the banks of river sabarmati Ahmedabad has a rich heritage
of traditions and culture.
Ahmedabad is well connected with other parts of the country
by railways and airways. It is also an International airport
conveniently connected to the outside world.
Ahmedabad has legendary monuments of the part, and also
modern educational and research institutions of repute.
The climate of Ahmedabad in December is pleasant and enjoyable,
Night are a bit chilly making it mandatory to wear light
warm. The organizing committee will leave no stone unturned
to ensure your participation meaningful, and your stay comfortable
enjoyable and memorable.
